DMX began rapping in the latter part of the 1990s. He debuted his debut album It's Hot and Hell is Dark on May 19,98. Among his other albums were... And then There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Again the Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ Flesh of Flesh Blood of Blood. The album titled...And Then Was X was nominated for the Grammy award for Best Rap Album in 2001. Aside from his musical pursuits, he also starred in movies such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds will Never die by yourself The Bleeding Romeo muse Die Backstage behind the Law Lockjaw Rising of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
